Motorola India yesterday released a teaser for its upcoming smartphone, Motorola Moto X Force. The teaser highlights the shatter-proof display of Moto X Force by mocking at other major smartphones like iPhone. We’ve seen dust and water resistant smartphone from Motorola. Moto X force will be its first smartphone to pack Shatter-proof display with Moto Shattershield technology.
The company says it has made display screen with multiple layers of different materials which are capable of shock absorption. Further, it sports dual layer touchscreen which makes the device usable even one layer is broken.
Motorola Moto X Force Specifications, Release Date and Price
Moto X Force features a 5.4-inch AMOLED Capacitive touchscreen display with 1440×2560 pixels resolution and 540 ppi pixel density. The device comes out of box with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and runs on Snapdragon 810 chipset by Qualcomm.
The device will be available in 32 GB and 64 GB internal memory models with 3 GB supporting RAM for both models. It supports expandable support up to 200 GB through microSD card. The Primary camera is of 21 MP capacity and secondary is 5 MP capacity just as two other Moto X models released recently. Moreover, the features of camera include autofocus, phase detection, dual-LED flash(dual tone), geo-tagging, touch focus, auto HDR, panorama and it supports 4k video recording at 2160p@30fps and 1080p@30fps.
Moto X Force packs a Non-removable 3760 mAh battery which is quiet good for a day usage. It supports 2G, 3G and 4G networks with single SIM(No dual-SIM option). Other connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, microUSB v2.0 are built-in.
The Moto X Force release date is set in February 2016. Soon, Indians can get hands on first shatterproof display from Moto. The expected price of the device is around $620(around 40,000/-) for 32 GB model and for 64 GB model it would be around $710.
