Motorola has announced Moto E 2nd generation model which is a successor to Moto E released in 2014. The 2nd generation model has notable upgrades compared with previous one. The Display size is increased slightly from 4.3-inches to 4.5 inches qHD display and the resolution being the same 540×960 pixels for both devices. Moto E 2nd gen comes out of the box with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It has a primary camera of 5 MP capacity supporting HD video recording and secondary camera of VGA capacity. The secondary camera add-on to Moto E 2nd gen may pull more customers towards it.
Moreover, the Moto E 2nd gen comes with 4G LTE support which is a remarkable upgrade and company has announced 3G version as well. The device carries 8 GB internal memory, 1 GB RAM and expandable memory support up to 32 GB through microSD card. It packs a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and a Li-Ion 2390 mAh battery which lasts slightly longer than previous version.

Motorola has come up with two color options White and Black for Moto E 2nd gen. Further you could buy removable bands and outer shells separately from Motorola. The device will be available in around 50 countries soon. It is priced at $119.99 which is around Rs.7400 for 3G variant and $149.99 which is around Rs.9200 for 4G LTE variant. We are not sure whether 4G variant will be available in India as the company quoted 4G may not be supported in all regions.
