In the initial versions of Android operating system, the screen recording isn’t possible. Google introduced Android Kitkat with equipped capability to record Android screen but which isn’t an easy task. It requires the device to be connected with PC to capture the action on screen.
But the introduction of Android Lollipop made it easier to record Android screen with installed applications. There are many available application on Play store for this purpose. Some of them require the device to be rooted and some impose restriction on recording time.
AZ Screen Recorder is an application to record Android screen which is free from all these restrictions. It doesn’t require the device to be rooted, it has no restrictions on recording time and it comes with lots of free features.

You can install the application from Google Play store. Once you install and launch the app, you can see a floating menu in center of screen. If you wish to start recording the screen, click the shutter icon which is first on in the menu. The app displays a prompt window which asks whether to start recording or cancel.
Tap START NOW to initiate screen recording. In the next menu options you can access app settings, view previous recordings and also exit the application. In the settings panel, you can choose options to stop recording from notification bar, by tapping the red blinking dot or by locking the screen. Choosing red blinking dot lets you pause and resume the recording on single tap and stop recording on double tap.
It further has features to set the resolution of the video, bit-rate and orientation of the video. And few other in-app purchases. Once the recording is completed, you can share it via social sharing apps installed on your device.
